Meet Lucinda Woolstenhulme: Bringing Experience, Enthusiasm and Innovation to Photon Therapeutics

Lucinda Woolstenhulme joins Photon Therapeutics as Territory Business Manager, bringing a strong background in equine science, veterinary sales and customer relationship management.

Lucinda will cover the South-West and West Midlands, helping introduce Photon’s innovative technology to veterinary practices across her territory and supporting the company through an exciting phase of its growth.

Lucinda’s holds a degree and a master’s degree in Equine Science and moved into equine sales after university before transitioning into the veterinary industry, where she gained experience across both nutraceuticals and pharmaceuticals.

Her varied career has given her a broad understanding of the animal health sector, alongside extensive experience building relationships with veterinary professionals and customers. She brings this combination of scientific knowledge, commercial experience and a strong focus on people to her new role at Photon.

The opportunity to join an ambitious start-up with genuinely innovative technology was a major attraction as she explains:

‘Joining at this stage of the company’s development means I have the opportunity to have a genuine voice and contribute to the direction of the business.’

Building strong relationships is central to Lucinda’s approach. Her sales career has involved working closely with customers and veterinary professionals, while her background in equine science has given her an understanding of the close-knit communities surrounding animal health and equestrian sport.

She is looking forward to getting out into the field, meeting veterinary teams and attending industry events and shows. Having grown up around the equestrian show season, she particularly enjoys meeting people face-to-face and developing relationships over time.

‘I really enjoy being out meeting people, building relationships and understanding what matters to them. That’s something I’m looking forward to bringing to my role at Photon.’

Her focus will be on developing those relationships across the South-West and West Midlands, helping veterinary teams understand the potential of Photon’s technology and supporting them as they begin to incorporate it into practice.

For Lucinda, seeing Photon’s technology move from an innovative concept into something that becomes part of everyday veterinary practice will be one of the most rewarding aspects of her new role. She is also excited by the potential for Photon’s technology to develop across multiple species and reach an increasingly wide range of veterinary professionals.

Lucinda has joined Photon at an important stage in its development. While the company has already established a presence within the veterinary sector, its ambitions extend considerably further, including the potential application of its technology in human healthcare.

As she begins working with veterinary practices across her territory, Lucinda will play an important role in helping more veterinary professionals discover the potential of Photon’s technology and supporting the company’s continued growth.

With her combination of animal health expertise, commercial experience and enthusiasm for building relationships, Lucinda is looking forward to being part of Photon’s next chapter.
